Heywood Chippy has been a fixture on Wham Street for as long as most people can remember. We're not a chain and we have no plans to become one. We're a local takeaway run by local people who care deeply about what they put out the pass. Every piece of fish we serve is sourced fresh and battered when you order it. Not before. Not hours earlier. When you order it.

The menu has grown better and stronger: kebabs, wraps, burgers, salt and pepper. But the heart of what we do has never changed. Proper fish and chips. Cooked right. Priced fairly. The kind of chippy night your family will actually remember.
